Sorry Monday, Jun 23 2008

Yeah, I had to write another sorry post. Everything I was working on hasn’t gone exactly as planned so I’m gonna have to postpone the suprise cool stuff I was gonna put up. Like I said before though, I’ll definitely be on this thing more now that it’s summer and I have too much time on my hands. Just stay on the look out and be patient. Thanks

Guitar Hero!!! Monday, Jun 23 2008

I know, I’m late to jump on the bandwagon but I was at a party the other day and at one point someone hooked up the wii for guitar hero. Of course I had heard of the game, but I had never actually played it. When I first played, I picked Knights of Cydonia by Muse on easy mode. It was pretty hard for me at first. I got 85% of the notes right and supposedly that’s not bad for a beginner. After that, I was addicted. It was so crazy. So I went out to buy the game and now I’ve been playing it non-stop. It’s so awesome! Anyway, just thought I’d share that tidbit.

The Lion King Sunday, Jun 8 2008

Yes! A classic disney movie. I felt the need to update my greatest movie… list so I thought this should definitely be the next one in. I don’t what it was about that movie, but it was so lovable. It was so perfect in so many ways. It really needs no explaining. The Lion King, you are now being inducted.

Brawl Taunts? Sunday, Jun 8 2008

If you’re into video games then you may have seen this video already. There’s actually two. They’re pretty funny and the characters are funny of course. Here you go.

Can I Have It? Sunday, Jun 8 2008

MadTV’s a pretty funny alternative to SNL. I know a lot of younger kids watch it. This one clip has been circling youtube for a little while. I just saw it yesterday. If the rest of you are slow like me check it out.

Little British Boys Sunday, Jun 8 2008

Wow. This video. So hilarious. It’s these two boys, and they’re really funny I’m sure everyone’s seen it before. Just click the link.

Aliens & Rainbows Sunday, Jun 8 2008

As I promised a long, long time ago, I am “reviewing” the new Ferras album, Aliens & Rainbows. I put the word in quotes because it won’t be much of a review. Anyway, Ferras is this new dude on the scene and this is his debut album. He has a really great voice and sounds awesome live. The songs on the album are all kinda different so it’s not like listening to the same thing over and over ::cough:: OneRepublic ::cough::. Some songs worth mentioning for me were Soul Rock, Hollywood’s Not America, Take My Lips, and of course Aliens & Rainbows. It’s a really great album and very personal I assume, so if you happen to be in a record store, or Target or Walmart, you should definitely consider checking it out.

It won’t be long… Sunday, Jun 8 2008

It’s funny, my sister happens to be singing the Beatles song It Won’t Be Long, while I begin to write my “it’s been a while post”. And it has. I know a while ago, i promised some things, and of course I didn’t follow through. I could explain but my explanation would be crap anyway. But I really am starting some new projects and with school being over pretty soon I think I’ll definitely have more time to check in over here and finish everything I need to. Until all of that happens though, I’m gonna update some sections and maybe that’ll hold over for the next week or so. Anyway, once again, sorry. The funny thing is that I never forgot, I just kept putting it off until tomorrow. But yeah, here you go.

Lupe Fiasco’s The Cool Monday, Apr 28 2008

So once again, loopey fiasco has released an album. Don’t get me wrong, that doesn’t make me angry, just his cockiness does. By the way, the kid’s only gonna do three albums so cherish these while you can. But anyway, back to the subject at hand, his newest album has been out for a while and some of its tracks are pretty good, worth mentioning. The first one i heard is still my favorite. The Coolest features some of Lupe’s metaphorical techniques as well as his rhyming skills. It’s a pretty sad/good story when you take the time and listen to it. Some other mentionables are Paris, Tokyo, and Hi-Definition. Overall, if you’re a fan of the “conscious rapper” you won’t be disappointed with this album. It’s the definition of Lupe.

Sorry Monday, Apr 7 2008

I know I haven’t written in an extremely long time but I’ve been trying to get this new section together with the blog. I wanted to introduce something new and hopefully that’ll be up by the end of the week but until then I’ll tell you about what other posts you can expect this week. There should be some new music updates, hopefully two depending on outside factors and two movie updates too. I’ll probably be adding some new things to the “greatest movies ever made…” section too so stayed tuned. Other than that I can provide a clue for the new section that’s currently in works. It will mirror the url of this site. Okay, till then.

Peace
